Updated the website using TiddlyWiki
Can you call it getting "sidetracked" if you've never actually been on track? I have always wanted to build a bigger bot with a ~WiFi PC on it. I have a couple of ~PC104 4" X 4" Pentium 133 boards and just bought a PCMCIA adapter. I have an appointment with the local Linux users group ([[LUGOD|http://www.lugod.org]]) this Saturday to get help installing linux on it. This should be fun...
Woohoo! Just finished the move over to robotguy.net. Hope you enjoy the new digs.
Updated [[Flik]]'s section. It looks like we will be building some more like him as a group project at the [[robotics club | http://www.sacrobotics.org]].\n\nThe guys at [[LUGOD|http://www.lugod.org]] were great in helping me install mini-slack on my ~PC104. I have the PCMCIA adapter and the ~DWL-650 ~WiFi card should be here soon. Unfortunately, I am going to be concentrating all of my dwindling amount of spare time on [[Flik]] to get him ready for a group build. The ~WiFi robot will have to wait for a while.
AVRFreaks is a great community site for AVR users. They have a bunch of tool downloads and scads of user projects with re-useable code. If you use AVR chips, go sign up [[here|http://www.avrfreaks.net]]

I have set up ~OC2 as a frequency generator to produce tones through a tiny speaker. Note frequencies and durations are added to a circular buffer, and when a note is done being played, an interrupt goes off, sets ~OC2 to play the next note in the buffer and sets a timer to call itself again when after //duration//.
